Hi TCS Families!
What a week! We have had experiments, activities, tests, ice cream, and guest speakers! We had Councilman Lipstiz come in and speak with the Government class, and more politicians to follow! I am grateful that we live in a community where so many local politicians are able to give their time to our students!
Our ice cream fundraiser today was lots of fun and raised $265!
Mark your calendars:
1) Our 2024 Homecoming dance (all students are welcome) will be October 18th 7pm-10pm
2) Our 2024 Homecoming cookout (this one is for the whole family!) will be October 19th 11am-2pm. We are looking for donations for burgers/hotdogs, buns, drinks, sides, plates, and folks to man the grill. Let me know if you can help! Thanks!
3) If you are interested in joining the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) please come to this year's first meeting on Saturday September 28th at 4pm at TCS. If you are interested in helping, but can't make the meeting, please let me know and I'll pass your name on to the other parents who come to the meeting.
More Info:
Now that the October trip to Boston and Salem has been cancelled, please understand that we will have school as scheduled on those days. If you still have not received your refund from the company running the trip, please contact me.
Are any families who live near Battery Point interested in a carpool? The Clark family would love to share some of the driving responsibilities with another family. Let me know and I'll connect you!
Check out our TCS Teacher Wish List if you are interested in sending in some extra supplies: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2OHM9HYWZK4IP?ref_=wl_share
On a more serious note....I have found chewed gum stuck to the floor (inside!) and the paths around the school. This is upsetting because we are the type of school that values respecting each other and our things. It is also upsetting because Bailey has started finding the gum and trying to eat it. Please help me reinforce how gross and disappointing it would be to find out it is your child leaving the sticky surprises.
Check out the attached pictures from this week!
