Hi TCS Families!
Yesterday was a GREAT Friendsgiving! There was a tremendous amount of delicious food! Thank you all so much for your generosity. My favorite part was watching a HUGE group of students (spanning grades 5th-12th) play a massive indoor/outdoor game of hide and seek with tag out options! Sometimes people bristle at the idea of unstructured school hours- the truth is that there is no greater college preparation than to navigate unstructured time. I am proud of our group for finding ways to have fun, stay busy, and enjoy the day!
Today we sent the chess team off to the SC SCISA Tournament. We just got word that they came in 5th out of 32 schools! Tonight they come home and play in the ESports championship game in chess as well!
We are closed next week for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I hope you all have a wonderful time with your friends and families! We will see each other again on December 2nd. That Thursday we will have another Chunk Your Change event! Last time we raised $283! We are putting all of our proceeds to paying for the transportation for Nantahla.

There have been some tiny technical difficulties with our Hoodie Contest- but we will finish that contest after Break.
