Dear TCS Families!
What a great Spirit Week! Thanks to everyone who participated and made the week special!
We had a lot of students dress up for Halloween today and had a great parade! I am impressed by how many homemade costumes I saw this year! Very Creative!
This has been an exciting week for the Seniors that applied to colleges. Acceptance letters are starting to roll in and so are some substantial scholarship offers! Congratulations to Alison Cantor and Benji Gambla! More to come!
Swamp Rabbit Battle Bishops (our ESPorts Chess team) swept another opponent! They are 3rd in the Eastern US.- YES- I said THIRD in the ENTIRE Eastern United States! Super Smash is still holding down a playoff spot and we will know more about their standing soon.
The pictures from this week are attached- if you don't see a Halloween pic you are looking for it may only be available in the yearbook!
Parents have received an email from Mr. Henry (our Athletic Director) with information regarding the Band App where our sports news will be posted. Use this link to get to our page: https://band.us/n/aba2A33cXcE17
If you are looking for some wonderful Christmas gifts, please consider going to the market described below. Ms. Emily will be there selling her WONDERFUL pottery!

3) Mr Paul is holding a Video Games and Cards class tomorrow 9:30-12:30
It wasn't all fun and games here this week. I had to pull the entire highschool aside for a stern talk about nicotine, drugs, and our school policies. We had two friends let "messing around" go too far and become unacceptable. And we had some boys being mean to girls dressed in animal costumes. It wouldn't be fair for me to send home an email celebrating all the major successes of the swamp Rabbits this week, if I didn't also acknowledge the stumbles. Personally, I feel the successes reflect our group more accurately, but the stumbles sure are fun to 'dish the tea' about. If your children spend more than a moment rehashing the "tea" please remind them of our Seniors' acceptances and scholarships, our ESports Team, our Cross Country team's success at regionals, The fun costumes, the great classes, and the other many "wins" this week! "Tea" is fun, but be careful- it stains.
PLEASE send in your Blanket order forms! See attached!
I DID hear back from Nantahala- prices went up :( I am still waiting to hear back about transportation costs and then I will get a quote out to everyone ASAP.
Be safe tonight! Thanks!
